Speech-Language Pathologist Role Full-Time School SLP Needed in Columbus, OH

Columbus City Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their special education and student services team. This role provides a meaningful opportunity to help students overcome communication barriers and thrive both academically and socially.

Role Description:
The SLP will provide direct therapy, evaluations, and collaborate with IEP teams to support students with speech and language challenges. Services will be delivered in both general and special education environments based on individual student needs.

Key Duties:

• Conduct speech and language assessments

• Develop and implement treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions

• Support communication in the classroom through collaboration with staff

• Maintain records of student progress and therapy documentation

• Participate in IEP meetings and support multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology

• Ohio SLP License

• ODE Pupil Services License (for SLP practice in schools)

• CCC-SLP preferred

• Prior experience in a school setting is a plus

• Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
