Columbus City Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language support to students across the district. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping students find their voice and improve academic and social success through communication.
Position Summary:
The SLP will provide direct and consultative services aligned with student IEPs, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to foster student progress and inclusion in the classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech/language evaluations and complete detailed reports
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Provide one-on-one and small group therapy to support IEP goals
Address needs including articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and social pragmatics
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school staff and families
Maintain service documentation and progress monitoring
Required Credentials:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Ohio SLP License
Ohio Department of Education (ODE) Pupil Services License
ASHA CCC preferred
Experience in school or pediatric settings valued
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Position Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday, during school hours
Caseload: K12 students, assigned based on district needs
