Speech-Language Pathologist School-Based Opportunity in Fayette County, GA

Position Overview:
As the SLP, you will provide direct and consultative services, participate in IEP planning, and collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure progress toward communication goals. Youll help address a wide range of needs including articulation, expressive/receptive language, fluency, and pragmatics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans

  • Work with students one-on-one and in small groups

  • Attend IEP meetings and provide recommendations based on data

  • Collaborate with educators and families to ensure continuity of care

  • Maintain service documentation and compliance records

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Georgia SLP License

  • Georgia PSC (Professional Standards Commission) Certification for SLPs

  • ASHA CCC preferred

  • Prior experience in a school setting is a plus

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, onsite

  • Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

  • Caseload: K12 (varies by school site)
