A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certified with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide comprehensive support for students in kindergarten through 7th grade at a K-12 school in Washington, DC. This contract position for the 2025/2026 school year offers the chance to work within a Naval base setting serving approximately 40 students with diverse communication needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology and healthcare settings
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with K-12 school environments and educational speech therapy
- Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for school-aged children
Location:
- Naval base location in Washington, DC, serving a military-connected community
- Position focuses on students from kindergarten through 7th grade
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and deliver individualized therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support student progress
