Description:

A dedicated and student-centered school district in Fresno , CA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 20252026 school year . This full-time, school-based role offers an exciting opportunity to work with K12 students , helping them develop the skills necessary for success in both academic and everyday school activities.

The OT will work closely with educators, families, and other specialists to support students through therapeutic interventions, all while fostering an inclusive and accessible learning environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individual and group occupational therapy services to students in grades K12

  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs

  • Create and implement IEP goals and participate in IEP meetings

  • Collaborate with teachers , families , and multidisciplinary teams

  • Support development in areas such as fine motor skills , sensory integration , self-care , and school participation

  • Provide consultation to staff on classroom modifications and adaptive strategies

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress


Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution

  • Current Occupational Therapist License issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT)

  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

  • Must meet all state and federal regulations for school-based occupational therapy services

  • Previous school-based experience preferred

  • Solid knowledge of the IEP process and pediatric therapy best practices

  • Strong interpersonal , collaboration , and problem-solving skills
