Job Description
This opportunity is for two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to provide services within a K-12 school setting in Colorado Springs, CO. The contract duration covers the entire school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant credentials
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, including school-based therapy
- Familiarity with healthcare settings preferred
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLP applicants is a plus
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary school teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as appropriate
- Maintain thorough documentation and reporting consistent with school policies and professional standards
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
- Participate in team meetings, conferences, and ongoing professional development activities
