Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract This position seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with expertise in pediatrics, teletherapy, and school settings to serve a diverse K-12 student population in Bentonville, AR. The role involves providing speech-language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, all housed on a single campus, as well as offering support to a small number of students attending private schools nearby. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech-language assessments and therapy to a mixed caseload of students ranging in age from 5 years through high school. Provide services primarily in-person within the school setting and via teletherapy as needed. Collaborate with educators and the Special Education Supervisor to support student progress. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with educational and professional standards. Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and ongoing professional development. Qualifications & Experience: Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) with pediatric experience. Completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required. Experience providing teletherapy services in a school environment. Familiarity with educational protocols and procedures for K-12 school settings. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively without the support of SLP Assistants (SLPAs) or Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCO) devices. Position Details: Contract position aligned with the school calendar year (NSY). Full-time, 8 hours per day, 4 days per week. Reports directly to the Special Education Supervisor. Services delivered at three school levels close together on one campus.
