An elementary school in Humble, TX is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)/Clinical Fellow (CF) with the possibility of supervision to support students from pre-kindergarten through elementary grades. This part-time position is for the current school year and offers approximately 20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours.
Key responsibilities include conducting initial and re-evaluations, providing direct therapy services, and assisting with Individualized Education Program (IEP) writing. The caseload primarily involves preschool and elementary-aged children, focusing on direct therapy and assessment services. The position will begin immediately and continue through June.
Qualifications:
- SLP certification with CCC, CFY, or School credentials preferred
- SLPA or CF candidates will be considered if supervision can be provided
- Experience with pediatric evaluations and therapy in a school setting
- Strong IEP writing and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families
