Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Concord, CA

A full-time speech language pathologist opportunity is available for the 2024-2025 school year, serving a primarily 9th-grade student population. This role involves managing a caseload of approximately 35-45 students and working four days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify student needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on speech sound disorders, language delays, and other communication challenges.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and IEP development.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience working with adolescent students, preferably in a high school setting.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based speech and language intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple caseloads and adapt therapy to diverse student needs.
