A remote contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving PreK-12 students in Minnesota schools during the 2024-25 school year. This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech and language disorders while creating individualized plans to enhance communication skills. The role requires collaboration with educators and families, delivery of direct therapy, and ongoing monitoring of student progress.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active or pending Minnesota SLP license
- Minimum of 2 years school-based SLP experience
- Proficiency with computer technology, webcam use, and virtual communication platforms
- Ability to pass technical screening and internet speed requirements
- Professional liability insurance coverage of at least $500K/$500K annually
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver teletherapy services to students ranging from PreK through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress and adapt therapy strategies accordingly
