CERTIFICATION: Appropriate Illinois State Board of Education Certification (PEL) with SLPN Endorsement; Pre-K through Age 22 REPORTS TO: Building Principal and Director of Special Education JOB GOAL: The primary goal of the teacher is to assist the students in his/her development of knowledge, concepts, generalizations, principles, appreciation and attitudes that will promote fullest possible growth and assist him/her in valuing the dignity and worth of himself/herself/and others. The teacher shall provide within the classroom an educational program for the students and assist in other school programs as required by district policy.
