Job Description
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to serve a K-12 caseload. This contract position offers guaranteed hours and is based in a K-12 educational setting located in David City, NE.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure integrated support for student progress
- Maintaining thorough documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports
- Participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to student goal setting
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology required
- Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage a full caseload and maintain accurate records
