Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Florissant, MO

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for an elementary school located just outside St. Louis, in Florissant, MO. This contract position spans the full school year and focuses on providing essential speech therapy services to young students.

The ideal candidate will hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and be qualified as a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) provider. Experience in pediatric speech therapy and school-based settings is essential to manage and support an elementary caseload. The current caseload is 16 students, with potential for growth. This role offers an opportunity to work directly with children in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals to address student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
• Manage and maintain a caseload that may grow over time
• Provide teletherapy services as needed to accommodate student needs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Eligibility or experience as a Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) provider preferred
• Experience in pediatric and school-based speech-language pathology
• Skilled in teletherapy methods and technologies
• Strong caseload management abilities
