School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Guadalupe, California

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a CCC certification is needed for a TK-12 K-12 school setting in Guadalupe, CA. This role offers a contract position for the upcoming school year (NSY), providing the opportunity to work with a diverse, mixed caseload of students. The number of students served will be determined based on the schools needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students across grades TK-12
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech-language support
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and district policies
• Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities related to speech-language pathology services

Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathology Certification (CCC) required
• Experience working with K-12 student populations, preferably with mixed caseloads
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with school staff and families
• Prior school-based experience is preferred

• Position is onsite within a full-time, contract role for the 2023-2024 school year

Candidates with compensation expectations under $58 per hour will be given preference. This role is ideal for a dedicated SLP who has experience in billing and working within educational environments.
