School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Tacoma, Washington

This position seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a contract role through the upcoming school year in Tacoma, WA. The professional will provide targeted speech and language services while working closely within a multidisciplinary school team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations for students with speech and language disorders
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs
• Delivering therapy sessions aimed at meeting specific speech and language goals
• Monitoring and documenting student progress with accuracy and consistency
• Collaborating effectively with educators, therapists, and other professionals to coordinate care
• Engaging families in the therapy process through education and communication

Qualifications and experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice in Washington
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team
• Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology in Washington
