Qualifications:

  • Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly from EC to 4th grade
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective assessment and intervention skills for diverse learner populations

Location:

  • Overland Park, KS

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
  • Provide direct therapy to students, fostering their communication skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student outcomes
