Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas Speech-Language Pathologist License
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students, particularly from EC to 4th grade
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Effective assessment and intervention skills for diverse learner populations
Location:
- Overland Park, KS
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on your caseload
- Provide direct therapy to students, fostering their communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student outcomes
