Speech and Language Pathologist - Providence, RI

A K-12 school in Providence, RI, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a contract position spanning the entire school year.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working with children in grades K-12 preferred
• Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment, and treatment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other professionals
• Skilled in developing individualized education plans (IEPs) and delivering tailored interventions

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments
• Monitor and document student progress regularly
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate speech therapy goals within the educational environment
• Communicate effectively with families regarding their childs progress and therapy goals
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with school and state regulations
