School Psychologist Full-Time Urbancrest, OH

Sunbelt Staffing is currently seeking a licensed and compassionate School Psychologist for a full-time, on-site position in a supportive school district located in Urbancrest, Ohio. This role offers an impactful opportunity to provide vital psychological services that support academic achievement, emotional wellness, and behavioral development for K-12 students within a collaborative and inclusive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral needs

• Participate in the development, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide individual and group counseling, behavioral interventions, and crisis support as needed

• Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to develop and implement evidence-based strategies that enhance student success

• Analyze and interpret assessment data to deliver clear and actionable recommendations

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal special education regulations

• Support school-wide mental health initiatives and contribute to fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate

Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio School Psychologist License or eligibility for licensure

• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

• Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred

• Strong knowledge of IDEA, assessment tools, and multi-tiered systems of support

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
