A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced or newly certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a K-12 school setting. This position offers both full-time and part-time on-site roles located in El Prado, NM, for the 2025-2026 school year under a contract arrangement.
Ideal candidates will hold an active New Mexico SLP license and possess a passion for supporting students communication needs across a diverse age range. Prior school experience is preferred but not required, as Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are encouraged to apply with supervision provided throughout the contract duration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing a variety of speech, language, fluency, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated support for student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with state and federal educational regulations
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings as required
Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico SLP license is mandatory
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Completion of CFY is acceptable; supervision is available
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to student growth
