Job Description


A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in Ferris, TX during the 2024-2025 school year. This role focuses on helping students overcome communication challenges and promoting their academic success within a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders. The SLP will provide direct and indirect therapy services, focusing on enhancing effective communication skills and social interactions among students.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Texas State License or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred but not required
  • Expertise in pediatric speech-language pathology and teletherapy considered a plus
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed

Location: Ferris, Texas (near Dallas)
