A K-12 school in Derry, NH is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an Extended School Year (ESY) contract position. The role focuses on providing comprehensive OT services to support the developmental and educational needs of students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom settings
• Document student progress and maintain therapy records in compliance with school policies and IDEA regulations
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute professional insights and recommendations
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs within the school environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license with state approval to practice in New Hampshire
• Previous experience providing OT services in a school setting, preferably K-12
• Strong knowledge of educational laws and guidelines related to special education
• Ability to develop and implement effective strategies for students with a range of developmental and physical challenges
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
