Speech-Language Pathologist Orting School District, WA

The Santa Maria-Bonita School District is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide onsite services for the 20252026 school year. The position primarily supports high school students (grades 9-12) with a moderate caseload and may include some elementary students. The schools are all located less than one mile apart, and the SLP will travel between sites as needed.

• Location: Santa Maria, California (High School and possible elementary)

• Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:45 a.m. 2:20 p.m.

• Hours: 35 hours/week

• Start Date: Late August (First day of school is September 3, 2025)

• Caseload: Moderate needs, primarily grades 9-12, some elementary support

• Travel: Between nearby school sites ( Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy aligned with IEP goals

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments

  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff

  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports

  • Support student communication needs in a school environment

  Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • California SLP license required

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs considered

  • Experience with school-aged students preferred

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
