Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year at a K-12 educational setting in Scottsdale, AZ. This contract role offers the opportunity to support a diverse student population across all grade levels, collaborating with a team of three onsite SLP professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication and academic success.
- Deliver services in person, with opportunities to integrate teletherapy techniques where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all educational and healthcare regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within educational or healthcare settings.
- Ability to deliver teletherapy services effectively.
- Eligible and qualified to complete a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if applicable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to student-centered care.
Work Schedule and Environment:
- Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
