Job Description
A school-based Occupational Therapist position is available in Chicago, IL, serving a K-12 student caseload. This contract opportunity runs for the full school year and offers flexibility for full or part-time hours. Key Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License
- Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized OT treatment plans aligned with students educational goals
- Assess student needs and monitor progress regularly
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to facilitate student success
- Document all sessions and maintain compliance with school district and regulatory standards
