Position Overview:
Were seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Aitkin, Minnesota. In this full-time role, youll assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders in a collaborative school-based setting to support their academic success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students speech and language needs

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and small group settings

  • Maintain accurate documentation and student progress reports

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student learning and participation

  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

  • Current Minnesota SLP license (or eligibility)

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply

  • School-based experience preferred but not required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
