Job Description
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving an elementary school setting in Kansas City, KS. This contract role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload of approximately 30 students ranging from Pre-K through 5th grade. The position is primarily onsite, emphasizing direct student interaction and collaboration with the educational team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students within PreK-5th grade.
- Manage and prioritize a caseload of approximately 30 students.
- Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) and Clinical Fellows (CFYs).
- Collaborate closely with educators and families to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support student communication needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required.
- Experience working in an elementary educational setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively onsite with students and school personnel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and documentation.
- Prior experience or familiarity with supervision of SLPAs and CFYs is a plus.
