A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 20252026 school year, from September 9, 2025, to June 9, 2026, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Located in Scranton, PA, this in-person, contract role offers approximately 35 hours per week, working within a supportive educational environment focused on student communication development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and fluency skills
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to K-12 students
  • Collaborate closely with special education staff, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate documentation compliant with school and state policies
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide consistent progress updates

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Pennsylvania SLP License or eligibility to obtain one
  • Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification (Instructional Level I or II) preferred
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous school-based experience is advantageous but not mandatory
