This role is ideal for certified professionals holding an SLP - CCC, SLP - CFY, or SLP - School credential who are experienced in providing speech-language services in an educational setting. Responsibilities: Deliver direct onsite speech-language therapy services to students throughout the remainder of the academic year Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication goals Utilize individualized therapy plans aligned with school standards and student needs Document therapy progress and maintain compliance with district guidelines Work alongside a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to enhance service delivery Adapt therapy approaches as needed, acknowledging the district's shift away from remote services Qualifications: Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC, CFY, or School credential) required Proven experience in a school-based speech therapy role Ability to work onsite, with strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with educational speech therapy processes and documentation Willingness to collaborate with support staff, including SLPAs This contract position offers the possibility to renew for the 2024-2025 school year, though Extended School Year (ESY) availability is uncertain.
