Part-Time Occupational Therapist K-12 School Setting
Location: Joliet, IL
Duration: School Year (August 2025 May 2026)
Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours per week

This position is ideal for an Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting elementary and secondary students in an educational environment. The role involves working directly with students to enhance their functional abilities and participation in classroom activities. Orientation will be held August 4-5 (paid), with student sessions beginning August 11, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students participation in classroom activities by addressing fine motor skills, visual-motor integration, sensory processing, and self-care
• Modify tasks or environments to accommodate individual student needs
• Conduct diagnostic and evaluation testing as appropriate
• Prepare detailed, clear reports based on assessments and observations
• Develop, implement, and maintain IEP objectives and accommodations
• Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and colleagues to discuss and support student progress

Qualifications:

• Must hold or qualify for an Illinois state occupational therapy license
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Flexibility and strong problem-solving abilities
