Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in the Baltimore, MD metro area for the 2025-2026 academic year. The SLP will provide evaluation, intervention, and consultation services to support students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders that affect educational performance.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Deliver direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.
Monitor student progress and maintain detailed and compliant documentation.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals.
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed.
Support literacy, language development, and social communication across educational settings.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Current Maryland SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship (CF) status.
Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of IDEA and special education laws and practices.
