Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Empower Communication in Ann Arbor Public Schools

Ann Arbor Public Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and assessments that help students build effective communication skills essential for success in school and life. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated, collaborative team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy targeting a variety of speech and language skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Michigan SLP License

• Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
