School Occupational Therapist Help Lakota Students Build Essential Skills

Lakota Local Schools is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide assessments and therapy that help students develop the functional and adaptive skills they need to succeed in school and daily life. Position Overview:
As an OT, you will evaluate student strengths and needs, create individualized therapy plans, and deliver interventions that promote independence and participation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare clear reports

• Develop and implement treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals

• Address fine motor development, self-care skills, and sensory regulation

• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to support consistent progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate documentation to comply with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Ohio Occupational Therapy License

• Ohio Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
