Full-Time School Occupational Therapist Position Help Edison Township Students Thrive

Edison Township School District is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy and assessments that support students in building the skills they need to succeed both academically and independently. Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student strengths and challenges, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapy that promotes participation and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address fine motor coordination, daily living skills, and sensory processing needs

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth

• Attend IEP meetings and share progress updates and recommendations

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state policies

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License

• New Jersey Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
