School Occupational Therapist Make a Difference in Warren County Schools

Warren County Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver school-based services that help students develop vital motor, sensory, and self-care skills for classroom and life success. Position Overview:
As an OT, you will evaluate student needs, design individualized therapy plans, and provide interventions that build confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and prepare comprehensive reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Provide therapy to improve fine motor coordination, adaptive skills, and sensory processing

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure consistent support

• Attend IEP meetings and provide progress updates and recommendations

• Maintain accurate records to meet state and district compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy License

• Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
