Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity Help Students Thrive in Kenton County Schools

Kenton County Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy and evaluations that build essential communication skills and confidence in students. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative team committed to student success.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student abilities, create personalized treatment plans, and deliver therapy targeting a variety of speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language evaluations and prepare thorough reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records to comply with district and state requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Kentucky SLP License

• Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
