Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Bridgeport, CT

An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide specialized support at an elementary public charter school in Bridgeport, CT. This contract position is ideal for a candidate experienced in healthcare, pediatric, school-based, or teletherapy SLP settings, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Location: Bridgeport, CT (Elementary School, pre-K through 6th grade)
Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week, 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM
Duration: Immediate start through June 17, 2025
Caseload: 23 students

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Connecticut SLP license required
• Background in school-based speech-language pathology preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations, especially within educational settings
• Familiarity with trauma-sensitive approaches and social-emotional learning integration is a plus
• Proficiency in teletherapy services is desirable

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy to students from pre-K to 6th grade
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
• Conduct assessments, document therapy outcomes, and manage caseload effectively
• Support a trauma-sensitive learning environment by incorporating social-emotional strategies alongside speech therapy
• Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
