Empower Student Voices School Speech-Language Pathologist Role in Passaic City Schools

Passaic City Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to help students build communication skills that will serve them for life. Join a dedicated team focused on creating positive learning experiences.

About the Position:
As an SLP, youll evaluate student abilities, develop targeted treatment plans, and provide therapy to address a wide range of speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech-language assessments and produce clear, actionable reports

• Design and implement therapy plans tailored to each students IEP goals

• Provide intervention for articulation, fluency, expressive and receptive language, and pragmatic skills

• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and share professional recommendations

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based SLPs

• ASHA CCC preferred

• Prior experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and time management skills

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district priorities)
