Rochester Community Schools is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver evaluations and therapy that empower students to develop essential communication skills for academic and social success. Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will evaluate student needs, create individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to address a wide range of speech and language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech-language assessments and prepare clear, comprehensive reports
Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
Address articulation, fluency, expressive/receptive language, and social communication
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
Participate in IEP meetings and provide updates and recommendations
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active Michigan SLP License
Michigan Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs
ASHA CCC strongly preferred
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Job Details:
Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours
Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
