Kenton County Schools is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver therapy and evaluations that help students develop critical communication skills for classroom learning and daily life. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, student-focused team.

Position Overview:
As an SLP, you will assess student abilities, design individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy that fosters confidence and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and prepare detailed reports

• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive/expressive language, and social communication

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to encourage progress

• Attend IEP meetings to provide recommendations and updates

• Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Kentucky SLP License

• Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based SLPs

• ASHA CCC strongly preferred

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
