Occupational Therapist Opening Join Hardin Countys Student Services Team

Hardin County Schools is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to deliver evaluations and therapy that help students build essential skills for learning, independence, and daily activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team making a difference in students lives.

Position Overview:
As an OT, you will assess student strengths and challenges, develop customized treatment plans, and provide therapy that empowers students to reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy assessments and prepare comprehensive reports

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

• Address fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care routines

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote progress

• Attend IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations

• Maintain accurate records that comply with district and state regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy

• Active Kentucky Occupational Therapy License

• Kentucky Department of Education Certification for School-Based OT

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district needs)
