Union City School District is looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver assessments and therapy that help students communicate confidently and effectively. Join a supportive team committed to every students success.

About the Position:
As an SLP, youll assess communication challenges, develop individualized therapy plans, and provide interventions that build essential skills for learning and daily life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete thorough speech-language evaluations and prepare detailed reports

• Design and implement therapy plans based on students unique needs and IEP goals

• Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and pragmatic communication

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to track progress

• Participate in IEP meetings to offer recommendations and updates

• Maintain clear records in compliance with district and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active New Jersey SLP License

• New Jersey DOE Certification for school-based services

• ASHA CCC preferred

• Previous school or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and organization

Position Details:

• Type: Full-time, onsite

• Schedule: MondayFriday during school hours

• Caseload: K12 students (assignments determined by district priorities)
