Position Summary Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students with communication disorders through remote service delivery. Address articulation difficulties, language delays, fluency challenges, and social communication needs using creative virtual therapy approaches and evidence-based interventions. Your role involves creating engaging therapeutic experiences that motivate students and accelerate progress toward communication goals. Work collaboratively with educational teams to ensure therapy services support overall student development and academic achievement. Principal Duties Conduct detailed speech and language evaluations using appropriate assessment tools and clinical procedures. Develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual student needs and IEP requirements. Implement direct therapy services through interactive virtual sessions incorporating games, activities, and digital resources. Document therapy sessions and track student advancement toward communication objectives. Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify strategies supporting communication development. Provide family education and training to promote skill transfer to home environment. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and educational planning processes. Mandatory Requirements Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from accredited institution. Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required. Current Kentucky speech language pathology license in good standing. Minimum two years of professional experience in school-based speech therapy. Strong computer skills and familiarity with virtual communication platforms. Excellent problem-solving and adaptability capabilities. Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities. Experience serving students with diverse communication needs and cultural backgrounds.
