Role Overview Serve students with diverse communication needs through comprehensive virtual speech therapy services. Address speech sound production errors, language comprehension and expression challenges, voice disorders, and pragmatic communication difficulties using evidence-based teletherapy approaches. Your professional expertise will help students develop essential communication skills that support academic achievement and social success. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure therapy goals complement educational objectives and promote positive outcomes across settings. Core Functions Administer comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify areas of need and establish measurable goals. Design individualized treatment plans incorporating current research and best practices in speech therapy. Provide direct therapy services through dynamic virtual sessions featuring interactive activities and multimedia resources. Monitor and document student progress toward established communication objectives. Provide consultation services to educational staff regarding communication strategies and supports. Engage families in the therapy process through training and home practice programs. Contribute to IEP development and participate in team meetings. Qualification Standards Graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology from ASHA-accredited program. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Valid New Mexico speech language pathology license. Two or more years of experience delivering speech therapy in school environments. Proficiency with technology platforms and virtual service delivery methods. Strong analytical and clinical reasoning abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with multicultural populations and diverse communication disorders.
