A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Lebanon, Harrisburg, Carlisle, and Shippensburg areas of Pennsylvania, serving early childhood and elementary students in a year-round program. These contract positions focus on delivering direct speech and language interventions to children aged 3-5 years old, supporting a diverse range of needs such as speech/language impairments, autism, and developmental delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to students aged 3-5 in an early intervention setting, with some roles supporting elementary-aged children.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and maintain detailed records to monitor student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with families and educational professionals.
- Ensure compliance with state and local guidelines for speech-language pathology services.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license and teaching certification obtained prior to start date.
- Experience working with young children exhibiting a variety of speech and language challenges.
- Ability to work in-person within the assigned school or district.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work full-time or part-time schedules, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
