A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Edwardsville, IL, servicing an elementary school population. This contract position offers part-time hours, working two days per week with a caseload of approximately 20 students from PreK through 8th grade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students (PreK-8th grade).
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 20 students independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel.
Schedule and Location:
- Part-time schedule, two days/week, 7:30 AM to 3:20 PM.
