A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a K-12 school setting in Canton, OH. This is a contracted position for the 2025-2026 school year. The role offers 36 hours per week with Mondays off when school is not in session. The caseload includes approximately 26 students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; open to Clinical Fellows (CF) with required supervision provided
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings
- Ability to provide speech and language therapy services aligned with school curriculum
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within educational teams
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and regulations
- Participate in required supervision and professional development activities
