A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to provide services in a K-12 educational setting for the Extended School Year (ESY) program in Tacoma, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to support students' communication skills during the summer term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Track student progress and document therapy activities and outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary strategies to support student success.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred.
- Knowledge of speech and language disorder assessment and intervention techniques.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting requirements.
