Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Irvington, NJ

An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services at an elementary school in Flanders, New Jersey. This contract position covers a leave from August 27, 2025, through November 25, 2025, with a commitment of 32.5 hours per week. The role involves supporting the general education population, focusing on language, articulation, and fluency within resource programs embedded in the classroom setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Speech Language Pathologist License
• SLS Certification
• Experience or certification in one or more of the following areas: Healthcare, Pediatrics, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), School settings
• Proficient in serving diverse elementary-aged students in general education
• Skilled in language, articulation, and fluency treatment methodologies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to students in elementary grades
• Collaborate with educators to integrate speech therapy within general education resource programs
• Assess and document student progress regularly
• Communicate effectively with families and school staff to support student development
