Speech and Language Pathologist in Norman, OK

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for the Extended School Year (ESY) program in a K-12 school setting located in the Norman, OK area. This part-time, contract position offers 3-4 hours per week from ASAP through July 2025.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students across K-12 grade levels.
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication goals.
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Participate in periodic meetings and professional development as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid Oklahoma SLP license.
• Oklahoma Teaching Certificate.
• Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred.
• Experience working in school-based settings with children from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
