Pediatric Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in Arlington Heights, IL

Supporting the communication and development of students from kindergarten through 12th grade, this contract position offers an opportunity to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in an educational setting in Arlington Heights, IL. The role requires dedication to helping children achieve their full potential through direct therapy and collaborative team efforts.

Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, participating in eligibility and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and providing direct therapy services. Support will be provided for Response to Intervention (RtI) programs, working closely with special education supervisors and multidisciplinary teams including social workers, speech therapists, and psychologists. Caseloads range between 35 and 45 students, ensuring meaningful impact on each child's progress. The position consists of 35 hours per week within a school community of 3 to 5 SLPs.

Preferred qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
• Professional Educators License (PEL) through the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
